Navigate

If I let myself go I can float in the sea
and imagine myself a zooplankton.
After a friend took me to the beach,
and taught me how to swim,
I came home and played
with these half human,
half diatom
creatures,
and just kept
on
animating,
imagining
sounds
of the
Southern
Ocean.
After naming
this piece
"Navigate"
I found a definition
of naviculoid:
"(biology)
Referring
to a diatom,
boat-shaped."
at Answers.com
I read about
"the state of flux
of the current
taxonomy and
nomenclature
of diatoms"
at Tentative key.
I reflected on
Henri Bergson
and his notion
of reality
as the flux
of space
and
time.
Now I think
of my first
sea voyage
