Art

Art works were made as sources for making animations, and to reflect on patterns that emerged from these.
Pencil and paint were used to draw on paper and canvas. Engravings were made into Perspex and glass.
Patterns that emerged through making the art works are circlular, spiralling, and crossing. These are trace forms of gestures that describe structures within the Antarctic ecosystem, and within the human body. These forms also reflect feelings some people have expressed about Antarctica.
