Ethical action

Simon Longstaff, of the St James Ethical Society, implies in this talk about ethics that we use our intellects to challenge habitual instinctive ways of behaving towards our environment.

He calls us to question people whose actions contradict core values upheld by institutions within which they lead. He cites the Catholic church as an example. Other examples that come to mind include schools, universities and governments.
