Framnes Fjella

 <  >

Jack Ward and Fred Elliott had spent a full year in Antarctica before embarking on the 8-day exploration of the Framnes Fjella, inland of Mawson, in January 1956.
Expedition leader was John Bechervaise.

Jack Ward worked as radio operator.
He was also a writer.

Fred Elliott worked as official photographer and meterologist.
He was also an artist.

Both men kept detailed diaries of their observations and experiences.

This is their journey, animated with Jack's words and Fred's drawings.
