Antarctica is a landscape of extremes, and notoriously indescribable.

Over years of observing and sensing its changes, data and art accumulate.

Roget wrote a book of similes, a thesaurus of words offering shades of meaning

to express similar ideas. This thesaurus offers different views, through images, sounds and animations, of observed and experienced landscape change. Attending to those who work in the ice we can find our connections with the changes.
