Living Data for Antarctic Festival

Art in progress for Antarctic science report

On 6 Feb I get this message from the Marketing and Communications people at the Australian Antarctic Division, and I send links to animations I have made for Living Data:

The AAD is working with City of Hobart (CoH) on a number of activations to coincide with Antarctic events in 2020.

One of the activation opportunities is The Loop https://theloophobart.com.au/, a large-scale high-quality digital outdoor public screen LED screen (4800 x 2560, 4.8mm pixel pitch) with audio emitting from speakers near the screen. It is located in the courtyard in front of the University of Tasmania student accommodation in the Midtown precinct of Hobart, at 157 Elizabeth Street.

We are working with CoH to put together a full Antarctic-themed playlist during 27 July – 10 August 2020 to coincide with SCAR CONMAP 2020 https://www.scarcomnap2020.org/.

We thought your Antarctic work would be suitable for inclusion. If you would like to be involved can you please provide us with the link to your video and written permission for AAD to publically screen your work on CoH The Loop. There is no limit to the number of Antarctic-themed videos we can submit for consideration so you may want to submit more than one work.
