Spread the word

The Lurkers performed last week in Canberra. They performed with such energy!

The spiral head of the double bass echoes the form of the player’s ear. These forms can be transformed, through animation, to describe the flow of energy in Antarctic bottom water circulation. The curved lines of the bass’s body can be morphed into forms and motion paths of whales and krill.

When information is freely shared, it can impact on many people. Climate change data and feelings about it, can be attached to personal and shared experiences. They can be combined through art forms and transmitted through live performances, exhibitions, print media and online.

Responses to climate change data can be conveyed in ways that accommodate how we use our senses to read meaning into scientific information.
